NEXT MAJOR PRODUCTION
LADIES WHO LUNCH – 4-13 OCTOBER 2007
Ewen Coleman is directing Ladies Who Lunch by Tudor Gates with production dates in October. This is our second major production for the year, following on from the successful Play in the Park.
The play is a modern comedy/thriller with some strong roles, especially for women. Auditions will take place on Sunday 22 July at 4.30pm at the Cochran Hall. If you would like to audition but are unable to make the audition date please phone either Ewen or Margaret W.
We still need some assistance backstage including a PA. This is a great opportunity to learn more about what happens backstage and to work with a very experienced director. Do you like finding bits and pieces? – Then maybe you could assist with props, another area where help is required.
If you would like to be involved backstage (whether it be set painting, props etc) or would like more details on the play please contact either Ewen on 384 1413 or Margaret on 479 3654.

GREAT NEWS
Khandallah Arts have received some great news. KAT has been advised by Wellington City Council that we will receive a grant for
Princess Kate and the Dragon by Lisa Duggan, which is the Play in the Park for 2008.
MEMBERS’ NEWS
Big thank you to Ross Foubister and Paul Langham for doing the lights for Cashmere Avenue School’s end of term performance.
Paul Langham is in the New Players production of Take a Chance on Me by Roger Hall.
Congratulations to Dom Gibbs who is going to be heard on MoreFM on Sundays from 6am – noon, starting in August.
JUNE CLUB NIGHT
Congratulations to Jo Bean and Mary Collie-Holmes and their casts for a wonderful club night in June. It was a cold evening but that didn’t stop us from having a lovely big audience to enjoy the two New Zealand plays. Unfortunately Kathi George’s play
Cliff’s Edge was unable to be performed, but hopefully it will be seen at the August club night.
AUGUST CLUB NIGHT
21 AUGUST 2007
The August Club night will be a full night with a planning session for 2008, (please bring your bright ideas for next year) scenes from Shakespeare, to be organised by Jillian Carpenter and hopefully a reading of Cliff’s Edge by Paul Beard. Kathi George still needs one male for her play reading. If you are a male under 40 and would like to be part of this play reading, please contact Kathi on 499 5591. Phone Jillian (479 5215) if you would like to be involved in the scenes from Shakespeare.
